Praise God because he is God. He is in control no matter what we think. Praise God for his un-ending love for us, his people. He will never leave us or forsake us. Its easy to praise God when we are on the mountain, but God said he will be with us when we are in the valley. He is God no matter what is going on around us. He tells us to have faith. Sometimes things don’t always go the way we think they should but God has a plan.
It is when we go through the valleys that we look toward God. We depend upon him when we think that we have no hope because he gives us that hope. He doesn’t want any of his people to suffer, he wants to give them peace and happiness. If you have accepted Christ, he has given you all things to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17).
God deserves praise from his saints because he called us out from our unrighteousness. If we have accepted Christ as our savior, we are now part of his family. He has made us heirs of God —joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). “Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light,” 1 Peter 2:9.
God deserves your praise and expects you to worship him. Psalm 66:1,2 says, “Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands. Sing forth the honour of his name: Make his praise glorious.” We should praise the Lord for his mercy and for his righteousness. Give thanks for the grace that he has given us. Thank the Lord through song for his wonderful gift of his beloved son, Jesus. Psalm 67:3 says, “Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.”
Ezekiel 28:26-And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the Lord their God.
1 Timothy 6:17-Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
Psalm 107:29- He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
Romans 5:2-By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Mark 11:22-And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
