Standing for God in This Present Day

Many may ask, “How do I stand for God in this present day?” Some Christians may feel that it is hard to stand up for what is right in this present day, but for others it is a necessity. The gospel started out with one man, the Lord Jesus. He gave his apostles a job to do, which was to share the gospel. Without dedicated and devoted men, we would not have the “good news” today. A new Christian should read their Bible daily to help arm them with what they need in life and to help them spread the “good news”. The good news is that Jesus died for the sins of the world and that he is willing to forgive you of your sins, if you trust in him.

The Bible is great with a lot of good principles to follow. It can change a life, and make a person happier than they have ever been. Realizing God is real and accepting what he says, can change a life forever. The Bible says, And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
(Luke 6:45-47). As a Christian our whole purpose, not our when I can purpose, is to lead others to Christ. Many will come against you in this last day and many will seek to destroy the very thing that you have set up. Satan has many followers and many people doing his service. They might not even realize that what they are doing is so wrong. They might make a movie or write a book about withcraft, sorcery, vampires or satanic cults without realizing what message they are portraying. Some might say, “ah it’s just for fun.” Yes, it is for fun for the devil when he enjoys every minute of it.

In Jeremiah 1:5, it says: Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and ordained thee a prophet. He chose us before we were even born to do his service. We might receive ridicule or mockery in this life, but we will receive a great reward in Heaven, if we do his service. The Lord is the creator of us all. He is more powerful than the Satan and he is long-suffering toward us. He does not want any to perish or go to a devil’s hell. Yes, hell is real. God did not create hell for man but for the devil and his angels. Read Matt 13:42 and 25:41.

It is our job as Christians, servants of the most high God to do his will. His will is to lead as many as possible to God. Romans 3:23 says: For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

For those questioning what their service is or if they can accomplish what God gave them to do. Read 1 John 5.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. He hath believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself:

About Tracy K

I am a born again believer who has taught Sunday School, Women's Meetings and written blogs and books for the purpose of the ministry. My sole purpose is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus, the son of God, died on a cross for the sins of the whole world. I believe he arose after three days and now sits on the right side of God in Heaven. I believe Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. Without Jesus, there is no remissions of sins:

I love this statement, “As a Christian our whole purpose, not our when I can purpose, is to lead others to Christ.” We should be leading people to Christ by living lives that reveal Him to the world. May we share His love with other so they too, can come to have an intimate relationship with our Lord and Savior. Blessings!
