Show Love, Despite our Differences

One question we should really be thinking about is: Does the Lord God care about how we treat others, and how we care about others? Lately I have read comments about others on my social media sites that really show how much hatred is going on in the world.  Perhaps a lot has come from the political elections, but we should still show love, despite our differences.  God made us all different.  Unless you are a twin, you look different from everyone on the planet.  You have different features, different skin tones, different languages, different sounding voices, different opinions, etc….. God loves us all!  He didn’t make one group of people and say he didn’t love them.  He loved everyone and as Christians, we should show love to others despite our differences.  We don’t always have to agree on everything.  Imagine if we all love potatoes and we all hates green beans.  Or we all loved having blond hair and we all dyed our hair blond.  Differences make us unique and special.  Differences make this world interesting and beautiful. Learn to love others despite whether they love you back.  Not everyone is going to like you, but we should love them anyway.  Do you think everyone loved Jesus?  No they didn’t.  He is God’s perfect son but people still mock him today.  So we need to show love despite what others think of us and show some compassion to others that are in different situations than us.  If someone lives in a small house with holes in the floor, learn some compassion for that person.  You don’t know what all they have been through in their life.  They could have been a soldier in the military and got injured so they were unable to work.  Therefore they are living in a poor environment because they can’t get any assistance and maybe they have no family.  Be thankful that you have food to eat and a nice house to live in, because others aren’t so blessed. Some people come from poorer countries and have to struggle everyday to survive.  Help me to pray for these people.
Mathew 7:12- Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophet. Matthew 22:36-40 says: Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. 1 John 3:11,23- For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1 John 4:7- Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

About Tracy K

I am a born again believer who has taught Sunday School, Women's Meetings and written blogs and books for the purpose of the ministry. My sole purpose is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus, the son of God, died on a cross for the sins of the whole world. I believe he arose after three days and now sits on the right side of God in Heaven. I believe Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. Without Jesus, there is no remissions of sins:
