A Time of Prayer

After reading some prayer request from some online friends, I thought I could do an open prayer for all those who have asked prayer for their loved ones and for other situations in their private lives. If you would like to add a prayer request, place it in the comments box below.  If you are not a child of God, I urge you to accept Christ now, or go to the link above- Salvation explained!

Heavenly Father,

I come to you on behalf of all these people online who are hurting, depressed, distressed or have other situations that have been difficult to handle.  I know you are the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; but not theirs only but ours too.  You have known us from our birth and have nurtured us here on this earth. We are forever thankful and grateful for serving a mighty God, such as you.  We know whom we have believed and are persuaded that nothing will separate us from your love.  We do not come to you for show but sincerely, to ask you to help us with our needs.  We know that whatever need we have, you are able to handle all problems because you are the creator, the master, the protector and the healer of all mankind.  We know that you are a real God, an alive God and there is no other like you.  You have so much love for mankind that we cannot fathom how much love that is.  To us it is un-measurable because we only see love from our standards.  We are in the flesh but you are spirit and you are truth.  We know that with you all the questions and answers of the universe rest.  We cannot comprehend sometimes why some things happen, but we know that all things work together for good, to them that love God, and to them that are called according to your purpose.  We sometimes question “why this” and “why that”, but that is not for us to question.  We know you are God and not us.  We know that your thoughts are much higher than our thoughts.  We hurt and sorrow for loved ones that have passed on, but you are in joy over those that come to you in death.  We cry over those who may be in great distress or sickness here, but we know that you have reasons for allowing suffering.  I imagine looking at one that is suffering, and realize it is to bring them back to you; or I might look at one who is having difficulty with paying their bills, but know you have a greater purpose, that we cannot see at the moment.  We want to ask you to watch over our country; there are many seeking to destroy it.  We know that many are threatening to bomb us, but we know that your protection will always be with your people.  We feel evil is all around us but we know that you are watching and guiding us toward a more perfect man.  Our fleshly nature tries to step in and fight evil but we must lay it all at your feet and trust in you.  It is the trust and the faith in you that will help us in these last days.  We see ourselves discouraged and weakened but you are working a mighty work in us to prepare us for the things to come.  We are weak but you are strong and you will help us to overcome anything that is placed in front of us.  We struggle in our daily lives to understand and to live a godly life, but we know that if we give you the reins, you will guide us in the right direction.  We pray for our lost loved ones, that you will bring those lost ones into your fold.  We honor and thank you for everything and we ask you to heal our nation, heal our sick, heal our minds ad heal our weaknesses.  We love you and want you to control our lives because you are God.  We devote our time and energy not for our reasons but for your reasoning, for your purpose, for your will.  Use us, for not our will, but for yours Lord.  We humbly ask these things!

In Jesus Name I pray!

About Tracy K

I am a born again believer who has taught Sunday School, Women's Meetings and written blogs and books for the purpose of the ministry. My sole purpose is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus, the son of God, died on a cross for the sins of the whole world. I believe he arose after three days and now sits on the right side of God in Heaven. I believe Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. Without Jesus, there is no remissions of sins:
