First of all I must tell you that the natural man or the unsaved man will not understand the things of the spirit (1 Corinthians 2:14). If you have not accepted Christ into your heart and allowed him to be the Lord of your life, then you cannot understand the things of God. Read my post: Spiritual Baptism- Anointing of the Holy Spirit for more understanding regarding this post.
A man of God is taught by the Holy Spirit and is given wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30). 1 Corinthians 2:7,10 says, But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. It is God’s wonderful Holy Spirit that teaches us all things. Jesus told his disciples that he must go away before the Holy Spirit came unto them (John 14:26). Jesus said that the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost will teach us all things.
John said in Matthew 3:11 says, “ I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.” When a man receives Christ, he receives the Holy Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit reveals things to him and teaches him; “for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God” (1 Corinthians 2:10). We have received the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God (1 Corinthians 2:12). What things does God give us? He gives us gifts to use for the purpose of his ministry. Go to this post regarding Spiritual gifts. So if you want to receive more wisdom from God, then the Bible tells us to feed our Spirit by dwelling in God’s word (Colossians 3:16).
