The Love of God

Have any of you ever given up your son for someone else —Allowed them to die in another person’s place.  Anyone who has had a son or daughter that they have lost to death, has had a glimpse of what God went through when he gave us his son. The most precious thing that belongs to someone is their family, especially their children. Jesus was God’s son before his birth on this earth. This should show you how much God loves us because he gave his only son on a cross, to die for the sins of the world. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him, shall not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

Jesus had to suffer a terrible death on the cross for the sins of mankind.  God allowed this so that we could inherit eternal life.  Anyone can receive eternal life with God if we believe on his son, Jesus.  1 John 4:15 says, “Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.” That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9).

God not only wants us to receive his love but to have love for one another.  If you cannot love your brother who you can see, how can you love God that you cannot see. Learn to love others and it will make it easier for you to forgive others.  To truly love others, you need to live for others.  Don’t worry so much about yourself, look at the needs of others.  People have many needs —not only money.  Some have spiritual needs that you can help them with.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8, Tells us that Love is Charity.  Love is kindness and love is not envy.  Love is not easily provoked and does not rejoice in iniquity but in the truth of God.  Love bears all things.  Love never fails and endures all things.  A person with love should care about others, rejoice with people who are happy and cry with those who are sad.

I am a born again believer who has taught Sunday School, Women's Meetings and written blogs and books for the purpose of the ministry. My sole purpose is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus, the son of God, died on a cross for the sins of the whole world. I believe he arose after three days and now sits on the right side of God in Heaven. I believe Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. Without Jesus, there is no remissions of sins:
