Some may ask, how can we enter into Heaven? If you have not received Christ into your heart, then the answer is that you will not enter Heaven. Your sins are unrighteous and full of corruption; therefore you cannot inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 15:50). We are justified by faith in Jesus Christ and not by works. Therefore a man must come to Christ to receive forgiveness and enter into Heaven. There is nothing a man can do alone, without Jesus, to be considered righteous before God. Our righteousness is as filthy rags in the eyes of God (Isaiah 64:6).
When we accept Christ, we are considered clean and righteous because Jesus cleanses us from sin by his own blood. Revelation 1:5 says, “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.” 1 John 1:7 says, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
