Redeeming the Time- Judgment is Coming!

God warns us that judgment is coming and to redeem the times. What this means to the Christian is that our days on this earth are few. It is a glorious and happy occasion to know that God will come and rapture his church and that we will ever be with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:17). “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

The Lord is waiting on the remaining people to be saved that will accept him. 2 Peter 3:9 says, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:10 says, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”

Judgment is coming and now is the time to repent and accept Jesus as your Lord. For in this day in age, evil is all around us. We need to ask for God’s forgiveness today and repent from our sins. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says, “Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” We must not wait and say “tomorrow I will repent or let me go first and clean myself up and then I will repent.” You are not able to clean yourself from your sins, you are as a filthy rag in the eyes of God without Jesus. (But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags: Isaiah 64:6). Allow God to save you and make you clean (Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool – Isaiah 1:18).

The Bible tells us that in the Last Days, there are going to be mockers of God “How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. – Jude 1:18,19”.

Today sin is masked. It appears to be glamorous and desirable. We should be aware that sin doesn’t usually represent itself as evil. Satan has blinded people’s eyes that they cannot see sin for what it is. He wants to fool people into believing something that is not true. “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them- 2 Corinthians 4:4,5). That is why it is important to read your Bible and attend church. Hebrews 10:25, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

1 Thessalonians 5:23 says, that if we forsake our sins and turn to Jesus, we can be found blameless, “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

But, if you continue in your sin, you will be judged. 1 Corinthians 6: 9,10 says, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

Galatians 6:7,8 says that whatever we do on this earth, we will receive a reward, whether good or bad. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 1 Corinthians 15:50 says, “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.” “So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin”- Romans 7:25)

So one day, God will judge this earth and deliver his servants into a better place called Heaven. 1 Corinthians 2:9, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” MP900178928

Revelation 19:11- And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. Revelation 19:14,15- And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

If only the ones who trust in Jesus go to Heaven, where are the ones who don’t accept Jesus go? Psalm 9:17
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. Matthew 10:28
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
